This is all thanks to the ES9038Q2M DAC chip and XU208 that support a variety of audio formats including DSD64 - DSD256 (DoP), DSD64 - DSD512 (Native) and PCM 24-bit/44.1kHz - 32-bit/768kHz.
The NX4DSD features a durable aluminium chassis. Just the amplifier packs in 28 hours of playback while the USB DAC/Amp lets you enjoy music for 7.5 hours straight. You can select the gain based on your input as well as adjust the amount of bass in your music. This Amp has an output power up to 293mW (32Ω) and 114mW (300Ω).

I had couple of reasons to go with topping NX4, s/n ratio and THD curve, I replaced my older fiio q1 mark 2 with the NX4. The difference is very obvious, top end treble is crisper and good subbass presence. Generally portable Amps filter out subass, but not on NX4, there plenty of bass and no muddiness. As a DAC again good performance with flacs, and good quality MP3 from my phone. Streaming movies sound good with clear audio. But I use it primarily as an amp for my ds160 and there's enough juice to drive all my headphones. Like any good audio product not much to fiddle with, there's a high and lo gain switch to drive different type of headphones. The bass switch adds good thump to lower end and again no muddiness in bass, tight response. So happy customer would recommend to anybody looking for a portable DAC/amp.
